Germany is hard to describe... There are some great places (especially for artists) like berlin and hamburg, and also some very quiet and rural areas. I think the best thing about the country is that it's quite easy to learn to know all sides of it because it's rather small and compact.
It's funny that so many people believe we'd wear dirndl dresses and drink beer all the time!
